OpenAI announced on Tuesday that it has formed a Safety and Security Committee overseen by senior executives, after disbanding its prior monitoring board in mid-May.
The new committee will provide recommendations to OpenAI’s board “on critical safety and security decisions for OpenAI projects and operations,”
The inventor of the ChatGPT virtual assistant stated that it has begun training its “next frontier model.”
