Driven by a surge in the cryptocurrency’s exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Bitcoin continued to rise Monday, surpassing $120,000 to reach a new milestone.
Coin Metrics statistics, the biggest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation was trading at $121,921 at 6:20 a.m. ET. It hit $122,000 earlier in the session.
Bitcoin has surged to new heights as more money has entered bitcoin ETFs. At $1.18 billion, bitcoin ETFs saw their largest day of inflows in 2025 on Thursday.
