After taking a break over the weekend, the price of bitcoin increased to begin the week, moving even closer to its all-time high.
Prior to this, it reached its highest point since November 2021, $66,874.48. Ether increased by 1.5% to $3,525.21.
The market digested two days of sharp outflows from the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which were offset by inflows into other “newborn” bitcoin ETFs. After their best week in over a year (bitcoin gained roughly 21% and ether 16%), both coins’ ascent was stalled over the weekend.
