During a Spaces session on X, Musk said that the patient has fully recovered with no documented side effects, demonstrating the capacity to move the cursor on the screen with their thoughts alone.
The rich entrepreneur is the head of the creative business Neuralink, which makes brain implants that use neural signals to control external devices. The company’s ultimate goal is to improve human capacities by regaining voice, motor skills, and eyesight.
The revolutionary operation entailed implanting the device into a human participant for the first time in January, however Neuralink was not immediately accessible for comment. The company successfully integrated the brain implant using a precision robotic technique.
