Wednesday saw Bitcoin continue its ascent, breaking above $60,000 for the first time since November 2021.
As per Coin Metrics, the flagship cryptocurrency’s price had a 10% increase and is currently $63,093.07. Currently, it is just below $68,982.20, its all-time high.
The market is more eager to see that level retested now that the record is in plain sight. After a one-week hiatus, the price of bitcoin has increased by around 20% just this week. Over 40% more has been added for 2024.
