Stock market futures were slightly lower on Thursday morning following the S&P 500’s close near the 5,000 milestone in the regular session. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down 31 points or 0.1%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures were trading flat.
In after-hours trading, Disney shares surged by approximately 6% after the media giant surpassed quarterly earnings estimates and increased its guidance as part of its cost-cutting efforts.
Arm, a chipmaker and designer, experienced a significant 23% jump in its shares during extended trading after reporting stronger-than-expected earnings and offering a positive profit forecast.
