The U.S. government would receive 15% of Nvidia and AMD’s sales revenue from China, the White House revealed Monday.
This agreement has sparked discussion about whether the chip giants’ business may be affected and whether Washington may pursue similar agreements.
Nvidia’s H20 and AMD’s MI308 processors will be sold in China under export licenses to the two semiconductor makers in return for the income cut.
