After the S&P 500 closed above 5,500 for the first time on Wednesday morning, U.S. stock futures were almost flat.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 30 points, or 0.1%, while those linked to the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 oscillated about their flatlines.
In premarket trading, Paramount Global’s shares surged by 9%.
This comes after WSJ and NYT reports that Skydance Media had finalised a preliminary deal to acquire National Amusements, the controlling shareholder of the massive entertainment company.
