S&P 500 Rises for a Second Day, Driven by Nvidia, Which Surpasses Microsoft as the Largest Stock

After Nvidia, the darling of artificial intelligence, surpassed Microsoft to become the most valuable public company, the S&P 500 increased for a second day.

In contrast to the Nasdaq Composite, which fell by 0.1%, the broad market index increased 0.1%. A tiny increase was seen in the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Rising 3%, Nvidia now has more value than Microsoft as a publicly traded firm. In a show of solidarity, certain semiconductor stocks increased. Taiwan Semiconductor and Qualcomm both saw their prices rise by at least 3%. A 6% increase was made by Micron Technology.
