Tuesday morning’s S&P 500 futures are almost flat following a profitable Wall Street day as investors prepare for the release of May retail sales data.
Futures associated with the broad market index experienced a 0.03% increase, and Nasdaq 100 futures saw a 0.2% increase. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 10 points.
These actions come after a successful Wall Street day that saw the S&P 500 rise by roughly 0.8% and the Nasdaq Composite end up nearly 1% higher. During the session, both indices hit all-time highs and closed at record levels. The 30-stock Dow ended four days of losses with an around 0.5% gain.
