The tech-heavy index gained 1.57% to reach 26,541.35.
The S&P 500 also rose, advancing 0.72% to finish at 7,730.99.
Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 105.56 points, or 0.2%, closing at 53,569.44.
