Stock futures declined on Monday, weighed down by weakness in the technology sector, following a negative week as markets continue to face pressure from rising Treasury yields.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures dropped 136 points, or 0.3%. Meanwhile, S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures declined by 0.3% and 0.7%, respectively.
In premarket trading, the State Street Technology Select Sector ETF (XLK) fell 1%.
Leading the tech sector losses, Coherent and Lumentum each dropped 5%. SanDisk also declined 5%, while Corning and Seagate Technology each pulled back 3%.
