Wednesday’s stock futures decline was caused by traders’ simmering anxieties about inflation as they watched Treasury yields.
Futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 0.6%, or 231 points. Nasdaq-100 futures dropped 0.7%, while S&P 500 futures fell 0.6%.
Continuing their upward trend from last week’s reports, Nvidia’s shares saw a minor increase in premarket trade.
Nvidia experienced a 20% increase in the three trading days after the release of the study. Before the bell, it was one of the few shining spots in the megacap tech space, with Microsoft, Meta, Tesla, and Alphabet all in the red.
