With a thinner design and AI-focused features, Chinese smartphone company Oppo debuted its new flagship folding phone on Thursday in an attempt to rival high-end foldable handsets from companies like Samsung and Huawei.
The business will start selling its foldable Find N5 phone for 2,499 Singapore dollars ($1,867.70).
The Find N5, which has a 6.62-inch screen, resembles a typical bar-shaped phone when folded up. When the device is folded outward, a larger 8.12-inch tablet is visible.
Most significantly, the phone is quite slim. The Find N5 has a depth of 4.21 millimetres when it is opened out in tablet mode and measures 8.93 millimetres thick when closed.
Samsung’s Galaxy Fold 6, which was unveiled last year by the South Korean electronics giant, is larger than that.
