Anthropic Extends Mythos Access to 150 More Organizations Across 15+ Countries

Anthropic announced on Tuesday that it is expanding Project Glasswing to include an additional 150 partners across more than 15 countries, as companies test Mythos for identifying software vulnerabilities.

The expansion targets industries previously underrepresented in the initial rollout, such as power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware. New partners will need to meet strict security requirements to access the model.

“This expansion is a step toward our long-term goal: making all software more secure with AI, and helping the industry adapt to how AI could reshape cybersecurity fundamentals,” the company stated in a blog post.

Initially launched in April with 50 partners, Mythos has uncovered over 10,000 high or critical security flaws. The rollout followed concerns about potential misuse by hackers, prompting discussions with the White House, Big Tech, and financial institutions.

This expansion comes a day after Anthropic confidentially filed its IPO prospectus with the SEC, surpassing rival OpenAI in reaching this milestone. The company also announced plans to offer Mythos access to the European Union.
