Musk Lawyer Apologizes to OpenAI Jury for CEO’s Absence During Closing Arguments

Elon Musk’s lead counsel, Steven Molo, apologized to the jury on Thursday for Musk’s absence, as the Tesla CEO was in China accompanying President Donald Trump during closing arguments in the Musk Altman trial.

Molo assured the jury that Musk is passionate about the case.

The federal trial involves Musk suing OpenAI co-founders Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, accusing them of violating their promise to keep OpenAI a nonprofit and unjustly enriching themselves through business restructuring.
