U.S. futures climbed early Friday as Wall Street rallied sharply, fuelled by strong earnings reports from Amazon and increased optimism.
Nasdaq 100 futures rose over 1%. Meanwhile, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 293 points, or 0.56%, and S&P 500 futures increased by 0.41%.
Across Asia, South Korea’s Kospi soared more than 15% on Friday, driven by gains in chip giants SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics. Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped over 3%.
The S&P/ASX 200 edged up 0.27%. Conversely, the Hang Seng Index dipped slightly by 0.11%, while the CSI 300 climbed 1.24%.
