Stock futures remained flat on Friday after the market concluded its fourth consecutive winning month and the Nasdaq Composite achieved its first closing record since November 2021.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures decreased by 20 points, or 0.05%, while S&P 500 futures saw marginal gains and Nasdaq-100 futures rose by 0.1%.
New York Community Bancorp, a troubled regional bank, experienced a significant 29% drop in premarket trading following the announcement of a leadership change and the revelation of internal control issues. The bank has already declined by over 50% in 2024.
