A federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., is scheduled to hear arguments on Tuesday in Anthropic’s lawsuit concerning its blacklisting by the Department of Defense.
This case marks the latest development in the ongoing conflict between the Pentagon and one of the nation’s leading AI firms.
Both the U.S. Department of Justice, representing the DOD, and Anthropic will each have 15 minutes to present their arguments to a panel of three circuit judges Judge Karen Henderson, Judge Gregory Katsas, and Judge Neomi Rao.
After hearing the case, the judges will deliberate and issue a written opinion.
The proceedings are set to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
