Stock futures increased on Monday, with technology stocks rebounding after a difficult week. Investors also considered a potential pause in hostilities between the U.S. and Iran.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 211 points, or 0.4%. S&P 500 futures rose by 0.8%, while Nasdaq-100 futures advanced 1.1%.
Market watchers were paying close attention to U.S. tech stocks after last week’s significant sector swings.
In premarket trading, Arm led gains with a 1.9% rise, followed by Marvell at 1.6%. Intel shares increased by 1.1%.
Additionally, SpaceX was set to open 2% higher after Nasdaq announced that Elon Musk’s satellite company will be fast-tracked onto the Nasdaq 100 index next month.
