S&P 500 Futures remained largely flat on Monday as concerns grew over the prospects of a swift resolution between the U.S. and Iran regarding ongoing conflicts.
Futures linked to the broad market index hovered around the unchanged mark, while Nasdaq-100 futures edged up by 0.1%. Meanwhile, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures declined by 69 points, or 0.1%.
Iran has indicated progress in negotiations with Oman to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but Tehran continues to withhold direct talks with the U.S. until certain conditions are satisfied.
