Stock futures held steady on Friday, following a strong performance by the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite, marking their best day since early 2023.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures saw a modest increase of 59 points, or 0.1%. S&P 500 futures showed a slight gain of less than 0.1%, while Nasdaq 100 futures dipped by 0.1%.
During premarket trading, Block saw a significant surge of over 15% after reporting fourth-quarter revenue that exceeded Wall Street’s expectations. Carvana also experienced a substantial climb of 30% after the used car retailer projected growth in its retail units for 2024.
Following a strong performance, with both the Dow and S&P 500 reaching record highs, Wall Street witnessed notable gains, driven by Nvidia’s impressive quarterly results.
