After the Worst Day for the Benchmark Since 2022, S&P 500 Futures Decline

Thursday’s stock futures saw uneven trading as investors attempted to recover from a challenging session for Wall Street and anticipated the release of important data.

Futures on the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 fell by 0.15%. Index-linked futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased by 18 points.

Following the company’s far lower-than-expected second-quarter earnings, Ford Motor shares fell 13%.

Conversely, Chipotle gained 3% after exceeding analysts’ estimates for revenue and profitability due to increased foot traffic at its locations. After lowering its guidance, American Airlines saw a 7% decline.
