Stocks increased on Thursday after a significant inflation measurement revealed somewhat slower annual inflation increases than anticipated.
By 337 points, or 1%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased. The Nasdaq Composite increased 1.1%, while the S&P 500 increased by 0.9%.
