Tech stocks sought to recover following the Nasdaq Composite’s worst session since 2022, and as a result, Nasdaq 100 futures climbed on Thursday morning.
While S&P 500 futures increased by 0.3%, those linked to the Nasdaq 100 saw a 0.8% increase. A 0.2% decrease, or 101 points, was seen in Dow Jones Industrial Average futures.
As its second-quarter results above forecasts, Discover Financial surged 3% higher.
Following reports from The Wall Street Journal, which cited unnamed sources, that Beyond Meat is meeting with bondholders to start talking about restructuring its financial sheet, the company’s stock fell by almost 12.5%.
