Monday’s stock futures remained unchanged as traders awaited important inflation data that could provide more insight into how long this year’s market rise will last.
Earnings from a number of significant consumer and financial companies are also scheduled.
Futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average traded slightly over the flatline, while S&P 500 futures saw a slight decline. Futures for the Nasdaq-100 fell by around 0.1%.
Following four straight weeks of gains, the S&P 500 is experiencing confidence that a Federal Reserve interest rate decrease may result from decreasing inflation and any potential weak spots in the economy later this year.
