While Wall Street attempted to stabilise following a decline in stocks, stock futures were calm on Friday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures market fell 0.2%. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 increased by about 0.1% each.
After all-stocks plummeted on Thursday, those actions were taken. After a six-day winning streak, the Dow dropped more than 500 points.
Both the Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 experienced declines of 0.7% and 0.8%. A rotation in the market seems to remain the week’s theme, even after Thursday’s sell-off.
It is down 1.26% for the S&P 500 and 2.87% for the Nasdaq Composite. The Russell 2000, which focuses on small caps, has increased by 2.33%, while the Dow has increased by 1.66%.
