After the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 recorded their best weekly win streaks of 2024, U.S. stock futures saw a small decline on Monday.
Futures on the Dow fell 0.2%, or 97 points. Futures on the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq-100 saw losses of 0.3% and 0.6%, respectively.
These actions follow Friday’s record highs for the S&P 500 and the 30-stock Dow, which solidified their sixth consecutive weekly gains. During the week, the Dow closed up 0.96%, while the S&P 500 ended up 0.85% higher. Nasdaq Composite increased by 0.80%.
