Wednesday, U.S. stock futures fell. The move follows Wall Street’s sell-off triggered by a steep drop in Big Tech stocks and rekindled concerns about the trajectory of rate cuts.
Futures for the Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500 both fell 0.1%. By 20 points, or 0.1%, futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped.
Following CNN’s story, which cited sources, that President-elect Donald Trump is thinking of announcing a national economic emergency in order to impose fresh tariffs, futures seemed to take a hit earlier.
