Major market indices hit all-time highs on Monday, and investors were waiting for the publication of inflation data later in the week, so U.S. equities futures moved very little.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a minor decline of 35 points, or 0.1%, while those for the S&P 500 saw a minor loss of 0.06%. There was also a slight decrease of 0.05% in Nasdaq-100 futures.
With two weeks of strong trading, notable milestones achieved by the major indexes, and an amazing earnings report from Nvidia, equities are beginning the week on a bright note as February comes to an end. During Friday’s trading session, the Nasdaq Composite reached a 52-week high, the Dow recorded a new all-time high, and the S&P crossed the 5,100 mark for the first time.
