Stock futures were almost flat on Tuesday morning as traders anticipated the end of a challenging August for the market.
Dow Jones Industrial Average-related futures increased 32 points, or 0.09%. S&P 500 futures increased by 0.11%, while Nasdaq 100 futures increased by 0.19%.
The movements come after a successful Wall Street day, which has been rare in recent weeks. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite each gained 0.6% and 0.8%.
