Following last week’s first closing over the crucial 40,000 milestone, U.S. stock futures saw a slight increase on Monday.
The 30-stock index-linked futures saw an 11-point increase. There was a 0.1% and 0.2% increase in S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures, respectively.
When the Dow gained 134.21 points, or 0.3%, to close Friday at 40,003.59, it recorded its first close above the 40,000 mark. The Dow first touched the 40,000 barrier during Thursday’s trading session.
