Early on Friday, as investors scrutinised key bank earnings, stock futures were marginally down.
While the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures hardly lost ground, the S&P 500 futures dipped 0.1%. The Nasdaq-100 futures fell by 0.3%.
Major financial companies’ third-quarter earnings reports began on Friday with JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo. After the business exceeded profit and revenue projections, JPMorgan Chase stock rose 0.8%. In the premarket, Wells Fargo increased by 2.3%.
