Increasing Client Satisfaction is a “Very High” Priority, the New CEO of Vanguard, and AI could be Helpful

Vanguard may use artificial intelligence to enhance customer support. This was stated on Monday.

Customer service at Vanguard, a broking firm that gained notoriety for being inexpensive and investor-friendly, has come under fire recently.

One typical issue on internet forums is the inability to get in touch with a Vanguard representative over the phone.

“A lot of the improvements that we’ve seen recently in some of the client experience has been due to applications of machine learning or instances of AI.” The CEO highlighted two applications of AI that could be beneficial: scenario planning and digital onboarding.
