Stock futures rose on Monday ahead of a tariff deadline and following a difficult February.
The S&P 500 improved by 0.5%, the Nasdaq-100 by 0.7%, and the Dow by 143 points (0.3%).
Following Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas’ backing, which indicated a possible recovery of about 50%, Tesla’s shares jumped more than 3%.
President Trump’s announcement of a strategic U.S. crypto reserve that includes bitcoin and ether also caused cryptocurrency increases.
After falling below $80,000 recently, Bitcoin rose 10% to above $94,000. Premarket increases were especially notable for shares of cryptocurrency-related firms like Coinbase, Robinhood, and MicroStrategy.
