Wall Street evaluated Nvidia, the market leader, and its most recent quarterly results, which helped Nasdaq-100 futures rise on Thursday.
Futures for the S&P 500 increased by 0.6%, while those for the Nasdaq-100 surged 1.1%.
Index-linked futures saw an increase of 59 points, or 0.2%, in value.
After revealing better-than-expected fiscal first-quarter numbers and announcing a 10-for-1 stock split, chipmaker and artificial intelligence darling Nvidia surged 6% in premarket trade, pushing shares beyond $1,000.
