Monday’s increase in the Nasdaq Composite was driven by increases in Nvidia and other tech companies.
The losses were driven by JPMorgan Chase, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average trailed the overall market. Gaining 0.65%, the tech-heavy Nasdaq closed at a record level of 16,794.87, marking an all-time intraday high.
The S&P 500 reached 5,308.13, a 0.09% increase. The 30-stock Dow dropped to 39,806.77, a loss of 196.82 points, or 0.49%.
