With a 0.4% increase, the S&P 500 was on pace to make its third consecutive daily gain. A 0.4% increase of 185 points was made by the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Up 0.3% was the Nasdaq Composite.
The company’s announcement of new chips for desktop and laptop computers that share the same Blackwell architecture caused Nvidia’s shares, which ended at a record on Monday, to rise 1.5%.
After Bank of America downgraded the electric vehicle manufacturer due to its high valuation and strategy risks, Tesla fell 1% in the premarket.
