As Wall Street failed to retain its momentum from the prior day, U.S. stock futures declined on Tuesday, under pressure from falls in bank shares.
167 points, or 0.5%, were lost by futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 both fell by 0.3% and 0.4%, respectively.
