Friday saw a decline in U.S. stock futures as investors awaited data on wholesale pricing and deliberated the consumer inflation report for July.
Just 5 points were lost on Dow Jones Industrial Average-linked futures. The prices of the Nasdaq 100 futures and S&P 500 futures both increased.
At 8:30 a.m. ET, the producer price index for July will be made public. The data should show a 0.2% increase month over month, according to economists surveyed by Dow Jones.
