S&P 500 and Nasdaq Futures Slip as Chip Stocks Decline and High Yields Threaten Bull Market

U.S. index futures declined Tuesday amid ongoing weakness in chip stocks, which have been at the forefront of the AI-driven bull market.

Investors also monitored the oil market after President Donald Trump canceled planned attacks on Iran, while bond yields remained near multi-year highs, raising concerns about increased pressure on U.S. consumers.

Futures for the S&P 500 dipped 0.3%, Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.6%, and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures dropped 77 points, or 0.2%.
