The S&P 500 was slightly changed on Thursday, taking a breather after breaking a record as traders awaited a critical US economic report.
Following an all-time intraday high earlier in the day, the broad market index fell 0.08%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed by 73 points. The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.1%. Lululemon surged 4% after exceeding forecasts in its fiscal first quarter.
Five Below’s stock fell 11% due to disappointing results and outlook. Nvidia traded 2% down after reaching new highs earlier in the week.
