Stock futures edged higher early Monday as Wall Street prepared to start June at record levels.
S&P 500 futures rose 0.29%, Nasdaq 100 futures increased 0.57%, and Dow futures gained 58 points.
May ended on a strong note, with all three major indexes posting solid gains.
Nasdaq led with over 8%, S&P 500 rose approximately 5%, and Dow gained nearly 3%.
The markets reached new highs on Friday following the U.S.-Iran memorandum to extend the ceasefire.
President Trump indicated he would consult in the Situation Room to make a final decision, emphasizing Iran’s commitment to not developing nuclear weapons and calling for the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened immediately.
