Stock futures fell Tuesday as investors awaited the start of the Federal Reserve’s June policy meeting.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell 156 points, or 0.4%. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures both fell about 0.3%. These moves come after a quiet but notable day on Wall Street.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite gained little to fresh highs, while the Dow edged up by roughly 0.2%.
This comes as traders prepare for the Fed’s two-day policy meeting, which starts on Tuesday.
The meeting will end on Wednesday with an interest rate decision and a press conference featuring Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
