Stock Futures Decline Following the S&P 500’s Sixth Consecutive Weekly Gain

After the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average recorded their best weekly winning streaks of 2024, U.S. stock futures saw a little decline on Monday.

Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 29 points, or 0.1%. Futures on the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq-100 saw losses of 0.2% and 0.4%, respectively.

These actions follow the S&P 500 and 30-stock Dow setting all-time highs on Friday, securing the benchmarks’ sixth consecutive weekly gain.

The Dow concluded the week up 0.96%, while the S&P 500 ended the week up 0.85%. The Nasdaq Composite increased by 0.80%.
