Stock futures fell slightly Tuesday as investors awaited the start of the Federal Reserve’s June policy meeting. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures dropped 118 points, or 0.3%.
The S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures both fell about 0.2%. These developments come after a quiet but noteworthy day on Wall Street.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite both advanced little to new record finishes, while the Dow increased by roughly 0.2%.
This comes as traders prepare for the Fed’s two-day policy meeting, which begins Tuesday.
The meeting will culminate on Wednesday with an interest rate policy decision and a press conference featuring Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.
