As Wall Street seeks to rebound from the significant losses seen in the previous session, U.S. stock futures moved higher on Wednesday.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average went up 105 points, or 0.3%. The Nasdaq-100 futures and S&P 500 linked futures both increased by 0.4%.
Costco’s stock dropped 2% before the market opened. Comparable sales for the membership club’s fiscal fourth quarter increased 1.1% year over year, but only 0.2% in the United States. Separately, Costco’s top and bottom lines for the time period exceeded analysts’ predictions.
The 30-stock Dow saw its worst day since March on Tuesday, falling 388 points, or 1.14%. S&P 500 losses were 1.47%, while Nasdaq Composite losses were 1.57%.
