The stock market showed little movement on Friday as Wall Street headed for a negative week due to worries that the Federal Reserve might hike interest rates more than anticipated.
Gaining 14 points, or 0.04%, was the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Together with the Nasdaq Composite, the S&P 500 gained 0.1%.
DocuSign, a provider of electronic signatures, saw a 1% increase in share price following the release of upbeat third-quarter guidance and second-quarter results that exceeded expectations. RH fell 6% after the home furnishings business provided dovish revenue guidance for the third quarter.
The Dow and S&P 500 both experienced weekly declines of almost 1% and 1.2%, respectively. Since then, the Nasdaq has decreased by 1.7%.
