Stocks dropped on Wednesday as investors took a break from the market boom of the previous week and considered Jerome Powell’s most recent remarks on inflation.
To 33,951.52, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 102.35 points, or 0.30%. The Nasdaq Composite fell 1.21% to 13,502.20 while the S&P 500 fell 0.52% to 4,365.69. The three indices have lost money for the third day in a row.
