Stocks rose on Friday, while crude oil prices declined, as major indices aimed to close a winning month boosted by technology.
The Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 increased by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 308 points (0.6%), with all three indexes reaching new intraday all-time highs.
Dell Technologies led the session with a 29% surge after reporting a first-quarter earnings beat and raising its full-year guidance.
Additionally, shares of Micron Technology and Qualcomm rose 4% and 3%, respectively, contributing to their recent strong performance.
Micron has gained 86% this month, while Qualcomm has risen 40%, despite facing notable drops earlier in the period.
